macsimonds 0
I have been e-mailing Tapco , at Tapco@customerservice.com for about 6 months , once a week , trying to suggest they make some mags for the .223, 410, 20 12 ..and .308, with emphasis on the .223 . I include to them details of , designing the mags with the tab to engage a Last Round Bolt Hold Open mechanism....Well they finally e-mailed me back , saying that they thought about it once before, but there didn't seem to be enough interest. So I'm here to try to get more people to e-mail Tapco , and suggest they too make the Mags , and if you do this , please urge them to include the tab that engages the LRBHO mechanism....this will benifit us all if Tapco developes these mags...they will be durable, reliable , affordable , and they will fit! macsimonds 0
10-4 Dallas , my mistake customerservice@tapco.com if there are any questions if that is right, you can always visti the tapco web page, that is where I got it. , thank you for your help, Please everyone that reads this thread , go to Tapco and e-mail them, about making mags that are designed to fit the Saiga line of firearms. I have been e-mailing Tapco , at Tapco@customerservice.com for about 6 months , once a week , trying to suggest they make some mags for the .223, 410, 20 12 ..and .308, with emphasis on the .223 . Snotrag 3
I've read in other threads , here and elsewhere that the Tapco Galil .223 mags , fit , but they wobble, and you most likely will have to install a feed ramp. i dont know if they work but they do make a 223 galil http://www.cheaperth...m/MAG495-1.html I've got 2 of these and they work great... no wobble or anything and dont need a feed ramp. macsimonds 0
do they engage the LRBHO, or BHO , or hold the bolt open untill you drop the mag?
hoevito 5
I bought a tapco galil mag the other day just to see if it would work...and so far, it wobbles quite a bit from side to side, and even though I haven't shot it yet, doesn't seem like it will feed properly. macsimonds 0
I also bought a tapco Galil mag ,,it wobbles side to side , but it's an exceptable amount , the factory 10 rd wobbles a bit too. less , but still a bit. But it won't feed , I'll have to install a feed ramp. and then modify the factory 10 rd, if I ever want to use it ...this is why I have started this thread , to lobby Tapco to make specific mags for the Saiga .223. Please everyone that reads this , even if you don't have a .223 , but your a Saiga fan...please e-mail Tapco and tell them you'd like a line of mags for Saiga's all calibers. and with the tab to engage a LRBHO! Thank you for your time ..

csspecs 1,987
Companies like tapco probably don't gauge market demand my how many emails they get. They call the importer and ask how many units have come in and things like that. Simply put, buying and installing a bullet guide is your best bet for cheap mags. Anything Saiga specific is going to cost more.
Maurice Middleton 4
Surefire mags have a LRBHO and don't wobble.
vulcan16 971
Surefire mags have a LRBHO and don't wobble. True. And best of all, a dealer near home sells them for $30. and a seller at Houston gun shows sells them to me for $20. No bullet guides needed in my ,223's Edited September 27, 2010 by Geo
