question about Saiga12 conversion, best Dremel

Recommended Posts

I have the Dremel 4000, it is a great model, can adjust speeds from 10,000 to 35,000 RPM (I may be slightly off on the values) on a dial. It works great and I've used mine almost on a weekly basis for damn near everything.: And it's only $79 or $89 at Home Depot/Lowe's.

Gotta warn you, though. Once you have a dremel, you will want a million different attachments for it. It's almost as bad as gun collecting! $2 here, $2 there. And for every little task you will instantly think "I bet I can dremel this shit....." :lolol:

One thing, don't go with the cheapo-Chinese ones. They are cool and will do the job but at $20 you get what you pay for, they burn out very quickly and most of them have really shitty speed controls.

Amazon has the Dremel 4000 for $82 free shipping: http://www.amazon.com/Dremel-4000-3-34-120-Volt-Variable/dp/B002L3RUVQ

Also for a starter Dremel I'd recommend an accessory kit: http://www.amazon.com/Dremel-697-06-150-Piece-Super-Accessory-Assortment/dp/B0000C6DZ6/ref=pd_bxgy_hi_img_c

And a cutting kit: http://www.amazon.com/Dremel-688-01-Piece-Rotary-Cut-Off/dp/B00005LEY1/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1282179640&sr=1-17
