gunboy69 50
I recently bought some HSM 762x39 loaded with the 123gr vmax, and those puppies come unglued! I shot a 5 gallon plastic bucket filled with water and it did not exit. The lead core stayed together pretty good, and made a nice dent in the back, but the jacket fragmented pretty bad. I would not want to be a surgeon trying to dig all that out of you. Lots of little copper frags, and a bunch of lead particles. It was like panning for gold. I'll try and shoot a video this week. I was thinking they might be good for pigs until I did that test, but I don't think you would get enough penetration. Humans aren't as tough as pigs though.
Zambidis 90
Humans also are not made out of solid water.
gunboy69 50
That is true. Mine came apart more than that, but ballistic gel doesn't have bones in it. I'll have to go find a sex offender in my neighborhood and see how they do. Edited September 21, 2010 by gunboy69

I stick to the hollow points or fmjs for the pigs. They are damn tough. I do plan to try the vmax out this year on a deer if I get a chance.
