mike1972 1
Longtime member/ seldom poster here. I did a search & could't find the answer & I am paying per minute to start this topic as I live so far out in the middle of nowhere that I don't have internet. I'm sure if I had the time to search more thoroughly I would find it but I'm in a jam here fellas & need the boards help. I was removing the sight on my old Saiga with the dremel so I could install Camerons quadrail & I cut a bit to far down & bit into the top of the gastube end piece where the sight leaf rests on top. I need to put a little weld puddle in it to smooth out the nick. I need to know what type of metal this piece is made from so I can weld me a puddle in it & then smooth it out to get rid of the nick. I was in a hurry & it was getting dark on me & my glasses were fogged with sweat. (this is my excuse for doing something so hamfisted & dumb) but I really need some help here.
