secretkeeper 0
K-var, I picked up Saiga 12 yesterday delivered from you. really like it! on the right hand side of receiver (near butt stock), there is a rectangular cross-out. It just makes me very curious... What was under there before cross out? cross-out seems to be done after leaving factory.
vbrtrmn 167
Mine has the same thing and was made in 2001, never really thought about it.
Bvamp 604
the rear right hand side of the receiver is normally where the importer marks go.....

Take a coin, and scratch that area. You might be the winner of a lifetime supply of S12's! OK, don't really take a coin to it. Mine has: Russian American Armory Scottsburg, IN ....in the area you described.
secretkeeper 0
yeah, I googled RRA Saiga 12 pictures to verify that area has importer's info. it seems like mine was marked for RRA export and then turned around for Arsenal export??? Mine has Arsenal marking on LH side right below top cover.
k-var Corp 61
This was done at the factory before leaving russia. It is a import stamp for a different importer that did not import the firearms. That is why they have arsenals import stamp on the left hand side.
