deadon 3
Im almost done with my 308 conversion. I put the gun back together and loaded snap cap rounds. This is the first time using there. I loaded one and pulled the trigger, every thing sounded great. I pulled the slide back and out popped the round. Problem is there was no mark on the round from the firing pin. Any ideas?
paprotective 362
snapcap may be too hard to register the PIN hitting it.. The 308 PINS are spring loaded.. If you take the BOLT out and hold in your hand, and manually push the firing pin.. it should poke out the front.. best way to test is to really shoot.. the firing pin not working would be HIGHLY un-likely.. DrThunder88 912
Maybe put a dab of layout fluid (steal some nail polish if need be) on the primer portion of the snap cap. That might show impacts more readily. Still, as long as the firing pin moves when you push it from the back, it should be good.
