garandman 11
AT about 50 yards, I'm guesing they are dropping maybe about 8" to a foot. Didn't shoot a whole bunch to really get a group. What's your exoperience shooting slugs?
magsite20 1,664
at that range it shouldn't be more than an inch or 2, you should be able to get out to over a hundred yards to get that much drop. slugs tend to shoot pretty flat for the first 75 yards or so. russianblood 0
My Saiga 20 puts Brenneke 3" 1oz slugs dead on at 50yds and groups them all in 2".
garandman 11
As I think about it..... I put one of those fiber optic sights on the gun, which sits higher than the factory bead. This would cause the muzzle to be aimed lower than there the fiber optic sight indicates, and that's prolly the cause of my low hits.
russianblood 0
I just bagged a mature doe with the above mentioned set up. The slug went exactly where I was aiming. Venison for another year!
sink21 0
Hey all, I'm new here so go easy I recently acquired a S20 and am really liking it. I was at the range last night and the guy working the range mentioned that he was generally worried about using slugs in a gun like the S20. Was he off his rocker? Thanks! Jake These guns were designed solely for use with slugs and buck shot. They were not designed for light loads. In my opinion I think his off his rocker.

I'm fairly new to shotguns (at least beyond standard skeet shooting) - would they be capable of firing other types of rounds (non-lethal, etc.)? Jake
