Cobra 76 two 2,677
There are some topics about this here already. There have been several suggestions I can't remember at the moment, but just to see, I locked my own bolt back just now, and still was able to push the recoil spring button in far enough to just get the dust cover off. My gun even has a recoil buffer installed.
Paulyski 2,227
I was field stripping my Saiga and accidentally pushed the BOH in now she's stuck! The bolt support won't move! Help!!!! Pull it back toward you. If the BHO is somehow jammed in there, Smack the shit out of the carrier in the rearward direction to unjam it. If you find the BHO is no longer spring loaded, thet means the spring fell off. Reference this thread; http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=61040&view=findpost&p=582417 Happy shootin'!!! ETA; Now you know why AKs don't have BHOs Edited December 21, 2010 by Paulyski
biggie7297 0
I now realize I didn't even touch the BOH, I simply just pulled the bolt support back to check the chamber after a magazine dump. Now the metal piece is jamming my bolt support and it will not move. Edited December 21, 2010 by biggie7297

TARE 47
You're having some bad luck with your Saiga. If it were me, i'd pull back on the bolt as far as you can while you pull down on the BHO with some needle nose pliers.
oldandslow 3
I have had the BHO stick in the up position many times. I just pull the trigger. It is released.
biggie7297 0
I am having some bad luck. But I called the American Russian Armory. They said they will ship her in next week, polish the bolt, fix the BHO, replace all the springs, and other minor adjustments. He said if the if the Saiga has any trouble firing after the tuning, they'll replace her (I did just buy it last week). So I'm happy.

Paulyski 2,227
Might I suggest, when you convert NOT modifying the axis of the hammer, so you can just leave the BHO out & get a Krebs Safety lever, or have Dinzag modify yours, so you don't run into the issue again.
