SOPMOD 254
I got this S308 earlier today and then hunted in my boxes of AK parts and just happened to have most of the parts to make it a 1st rate Saiga converion in 30-45 minutes. Dinzag Handguard Retainer K-Var US Forend RSA Adjustable Trigger Bulgarian AK74 Trigger Guard/Mag Release K-Var USA buttstock(holes filed and redrilled) Custom Ergo Grip Grip Nut and Screw US Gas Piston 12 FBMG 20rd mags Whipped out the handy rotozip with the flexible shaft and some carbide burrs and has this sucker knocked out fast. All that remains is Bore/and setback FSB AK74 Gas Tube and Upper Handguard Thread Muzzle and attach SOG 4 prong FH Dress Crown and Chamfer Muzzle Paint and Bake and then I may stick a 6x Russian scope on there and see how I like it and if the siderail was installed tight enough and I will have another S308 but this time with the longer barrel. paladin357 0
http://www.blairequipment.com/Kits/Cutter_Kits.html I love these. They eat through a spot weld in about 15 seconds. 30 more seconds with the dremel and you're done

SOPMOD 254
Well my East German AK74 gas tube came in the mail today so I wasted no time cutting the bottom of it to lay level with the AK100 forend.Took about 10 minutes but since I don't have my black polymer handguard yet I decided to take a stab at sanding the legs of the vent holes off of the brown plastic upper handguard while I was at it. Heck I could almost bead blast and paint the cheapo EG upper handguard and just paint it to match and save myself $18,lol
