KC913 324
Same design has been used on other platforms for a while. Just never seen one used on an AK. How effective is it?
Mullet Man 2,114
std AK thread LOL Okay, so 14 or 24mm threads? They are both standard.

DrThunder88 912
Neat! It looks like the Miculek comp for AR-15s, which is supposed to be pretty good. I'd considered reaming one for 7.62x39, but the threads were an issue. What kind of price point would we be looking at?
paprotective 362
That is a like the 3 port Miculek.. on my 308(s) (Both Saiga and DPMS) it works pretty good.. The how much is the question.. I know the OTHER ones are up at $50 or so.. They do make a 1/2" AR version of this.. just have to bore it out to 14LH.. don452 2
I like it. I think that AK users/owners should own and ulilize (and experiment) with many types of brakes/compensators to determine the most effective for their use.

Juggernaut 11,054
17-4 stainless. Should retail around 40 bucks. Flat rate of five bucks to ship. OR buy one with a shirt and no additional shipping will be added to order. Should have product in hand in under 2 weeks.. Note* unfinished.
DrThunder88 912
Sounds very durable and extremely reasonable. Consider me tantalized!

I'd considered reaming one for 7.62x39, but the threads were an issue. What kind of price point would we be looking at? Yup. Looks just like the Miculek brake I had on my first AR. Very effective, and very loud. Juggs, have you used this yourself? How do you like it? Might be a consideration for when I finally get a Draco.
Klassy Kalashnikov 1,393
Looks cool. I'd be interested to see a comparison video of its performance versus a 24mm AK-74 brake. Edited January 22, 2011 by Classy Kalashnikov

Nailbomb 10,221
At $40 its very affordably priced, and the fact that its unfinished isn't a detriment as I see when most of us are refinishing our guns due to welding/grinding/poor factory finish anyway. Very nice.
DrThunder88 912
Oh yeah, it's nothing a bit of stove paint won't cure. If the condition is similar to the closeup, I might subject it to a bead blasting first. Come to think of it, blasted stainless could look pretty good.
