What mount do I use to put Eotech 512 on Saiga 308?

Recommended Posts

I am about to try the TWS hinged top cover rail on mine. The Eotech 552XR308 would be better choice for a Saiga 308 though wouldn't it?

LET US KNOW HOW THE TWS WORKS FOR YOU. DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE R308--THANKS. LOOKED AT IT ON EOTECH SITE. I LIKE THE RETICLE ON THE 512 A LOT MORE THAN THE ONE SHOWN FOR THE R308. DO YOU KNOW IF THE 512 WOULD HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE 308 RECOIL? I'M NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE 308 VS. .223 TRAJECTORY DIFFERENCE, AS I INTEND THE SAIGA TO SERVE ESSENTIALLY WITHIN 150 YARD RANGE. BUT DON'T WANT THE 512 CRAPPING OUT BECAUSE NOT CONSTRUCTED FOR THE BUMPIER RIDE. THANKS!

They are constructed the same I think since they are the same price, the caliber specification has to do with the BDC reticule 5.56,7.63,12.7 respectively.

PS I do not mean to be critical or rude but the typing in all caps is the forum/chat equivalent of shouting

Thanks for the info and the counsel. I'm new to blogging. (Took the AR v. AK question finally to draw me in.) I'm way into "Speak softly, but carry a big stick." By the way, why are my replies appearing twice, when I click on "Add reply" only once?
