physicsnerd 139
For those of us without cable and thus access to the Discovery Channel, will it be available for online viewing either in real time or after the fact?
GregM1 241
If anywhere, I would assume this will have the answer. http://dsc.discovery.com/tv/sons-of-guns/

If their going to allow full episodes to be viewed on their site, it will most likely show up on this page: http://dsc.discovery.com/videos/sons-of-guns-videos/ Another option might be Hulu.com. They have a lot of series available for viewing, but they run a few days behind the original air-date, I think. No guarantee that they'll have it, but keep checking it. http://www.hulu.com/
mac66 12
So they assemble AK47s. What makes them the "most skilled and creative gun works" in the country? Hell, even an ignorant peasant like me can build an AK from parts or modify a Saiga shotgun. It ain't exactly rocket science. That's worth the look.

termite 463
NICE 2 shows, the suppressed S12 was bad ass, and the Master Key was cool too, and was that a shark brake on the end of it?
Kliegl 304
I watched the first one, it was better than I thought it would be. I hope they can stay away from suspense and drama.

Nailbomb 10,221
Saw the show tonight. Very well done. I know we have been told you kept them away from the deadline drama, but there was always that lurking fear that this was going to be like OCC. Thankfully the show seemed extreemly tastefully done. I loved it. Can't wait untill next week.
GregM1 241
i agree nailbomb. im glad they kept it light with mild drama. I hope the next ones are just as good. I also liked how they started with the close up of the "saiga 12" engraving and zoomed out to show the whole rifle. Edited January 27, 2011 by GregM1
ktcm7271 999
Damn good show, piss off Top Shot. A show about guns without a douche-bag host with the personality of a cactus patch. When do Tromix and Lonestar get shows?
rjrivero 50
The "deadline" drama was minimal, and I certainly hope they pull away from that in future episodes. In the context, it's rather artifical. That being said, the drama of research and development is pretty cool. The fact that you take the guys in the shop and give them a development project, in the case of the "Master Key" and are banking on an order of so many units in order to make the investment in time and resources worth whiile is more true to life in the firearms buisness. (IMVHO) It's inspiring to see someone who's passionate about their craft work that craft. That in itself is worth the watch. The family dynamic is entertaining as well. Good to know that I'm not the only one who needs to get reigned in from time to time. As for the disclaimer, c'mon, Will. You know I'm piling up form 1's as we speak!! Heath_h49008 442
I hope they don't keep it as "dumbed down" as the previews. I want to see great steel getting worked by skilled guys, not hairgel, tats, and bling with some guns in the background. Gun culture doesn't need our first show to be the Jersey Shore with Saiga 12s.
22_Shooter 1,560
I liked it too. Kinda cool to see the shotgun we all know and love being highlighted. I see there's a tough crowd over on Arfcom. Maybe it doesn't live up to their mall-ninja standards. Not enough rails and lasers.
