babarsac 0
Guess I should has gotten interested in the 308 Saiga a couple years ago when they didn't cost an arm and a leg Is $600 about the going rate? That's all I can find at my local toy stores.
308SAIGA 55
It depends, is it converted or stock? What State are you in?
yellowcarbon 4
$600 for an unconverted S308 is around 'retail' pricing IMHO. I think you can get one for $450-500ish on Gunbroker. But you would need to pay shipping and FFL fees. Plus you would have to wait. So you need to decide if it is worth it to you or not. If you could do $550-600 out the door, I think that would be decent. Edited February 16, 2011 by yellowcarbon

babarsac 0
Found one for $499 shipped, and since my dealer owes me a transfer on the house that's not too bad a deal. Arg now I just have to decide between that and a Garand. Edited February 17, 2011 by babarsac
SpeedmanRC 2
Was quoted $620 or 580 at my nearest firearm dealer...might shop around a little more before I put cash down.

Unknown Poster 5
My first saiga in 308win was $307 OTD. At the time the 308win saiga listed for just $289 while the saiga in 223 listed for $259. Both had 16" barrel. The last time i was at my local gun shop he had two 16" saiga's in 308win for just $450 each. I may go back and see if there still there. UKP
CommandoJoe 0
My local dealer has a 16" S308 for $469... If it had been the 22" I would have snapped it up on the spot...
7N6Wolf 61
Glad I bought one when they were $325.00 I am kicking myself for not buying one when they were that cheap (around Spring 2007, I think). Saiga 12's also sold for around the same price.
naturalcracker 3
Just bought one today at gun show Saiga's were everywhere. A big difference in price from dealer to dealer 16" .308 ranged from 419.00 to 630.00. I got mine for 419.00 plus tax & transfer.

Unknown Poster 5
Why do i see the standard, stock, orginal and untouched 308win saiga's going for so much higher in price on the guns for sale sights? I've seen then as high as $750. After bringing my first saiga in 308win to my hunting camp in the north country and shooting it after the hunt was over it impressed everyone of us and the natives too. When i got home i went to purchase my second one in 308win and found the full rock of 308win saiga's gone, noda, sold out in a few days. But the rack was restocked with the 16" saiga's in 223. I was never fond of the expensive black rifles nor the 223 round when it was referred to as a varmit round when it was first offered on the market. I always put the 22-250 first as the top varmit round but thats another story/post. I now own 6 saiga's 3 in 223 and 2 w/16" barrels in 308win and 1 w/21" barrel in 308win. There the best bang for our $$$ in any caliber for sure. Edited March 11, 2011 by Unknown Poster

Mike1234567 26
Got mine for $475 shipped to my FFL less than 2 months ago... before the shortage. I think the "scarey shotgun" ban scare affected rifle sales too.

Mike1234567 26
*I recommended a forum vendor but, as impressed as I am by some Vendors here, I'm deleting my recommendation due to high support for Vendors by Mods and low support for Forum Members. Money talks and that's a 2-WAY conversation. MEMBERS... SOLIDARITY!! I understand that this forum is supported by Vendors... but if we Members don't buy from the Vendors then they will no longer pay their Vendor dues. Also what is "CSS" and how can one get in touch with them and others to get the absolutely "best buy" on a SAIGA .308 Thank you in advance for your reply and courtesy.
