Professional Troll 0
A friend was in town over the weekend and mentioned he got a new to him shotgun. He's not to knowledgeable on guns, but he described it as a bolt action 20 Ga, with a removable box mag, and when I described the Saiga mags, he said they were exactly like that. My Google-fu may be strong, but I have yet to find anything like this, so has anyone here heard anything about a gun like this?
jjvgnslngr 3
There were some old J.C. Higgins and mossberg shotguns that were bolt actions that used a removable 2 or 3 shot box magazine. Probably one of those.

Gunfanatic 221
Savage Model 220 Bolt-Action 20-Gauge?
Kliegl 304
I'd say he has a Mossberg. I've got a 20 gauge Mossberg I picked up from gander mountain for a hundred twenty or so that's bolt action and has a 2 shot mag. Bolt actions SUCK for follow up clay shots. Azrial 1,091
Yes, I have an old Mossberg 12 gauge bolt action. It is mag fed and I have always considered that it would make as good a "Master Key" as any.

IndyArms 10,186
You would have to be a REALLY good shot to use that at OUR turkey shoots at OUR club... You are NOT ALLOWED to let the gun touch the table you shoot from... you may lean on it, and get a rest... but the gun must be totally supported by yourself... And with THAT setup... you would be shooting at 2.5"-3" targets at 190 yards...
