Messiah Jones 2
I just got my S12 today and plan to use it for turkey and deer hunting. I got the 19" non-threaded, no-choke model for use with slugs also. I was told by the dealer that barrel length doesn't matter like it used to as far as pattern. (I am the newest of newbs by the way). I was hoping someone here has an idea what kind of range/pattern I might get from this set-up. I am going to turkey hunt with it soon and I'm afraid I got a bad model for this. Anyone care to tackle this issue? Thanks.

Messiah Jones 2
I emailed EAA today about this and they sent me a message back saying that internal chokes can be added. And to call their number. What is involed in this? Could I still use slugs?
CheeseHead 0
I just bought a Saiga 12 w/ the 21" barrel and fixed full choke. I liked the camo on the gun and my dealer said he could add screw in chokes for $45 with one choke and other chokes are about $15. You can still shoot slugs just fine as long as you put in a choke other than full. I plan to put the new TruGlo adjustable choke in mine for sporting clays and bird hunting.
