Jpanzer 1,265
My Dad there in Dec. 1944 with the 289th Combat Engineer Battalion. Was always fascinated by his service and some of the stories he told me. But since he has passed I've realized there was a lot he didn't tell me, especially about the hardships he and the others who served then went through. This vid reminded me of that all over again. Thanks for posting it... Edited March 3, 2011 by Jpanzer
DrThunder88 912
My first inkling was to post, "I'm glad he was on our side!" While, as a joke about his shooting ability, it's certainly very true, it must also be a serious sentiment about his service to our country. He and his fellow servicemen, past and present, are rightly appreciated beyond their skills with firearms, impressive as they may be!
