The large square etching is where it at one point said Russian American Armory Company Scottsburg IN. Was Izhmash engraving RAA on the saigas before being shipped? I think there was another recent post regarding the etchings also. N4KVE 14 Posted March 6, 2011 Report Share Posted March 6, 2011 It's a shame they had to do that so obviously. I have a milled MAK 90 where the importer was changed. The original importer's name was rubbed out in a way that I can hardly notice it. A second importer was marked elsewhere on the receiver. A good buffing would fix that up pretty good.
