washburnizer 8
Seeking advice. I plan on replacing the factory trigger group with one by CSS. Once I do that, will my S12 accept an AK thumbhole stock without any other modifications? I am unsure if the tang would have to be removed. I think, from what I've read on hear, that removing the tang is only needed if you plan to use AR style stocks. Is this correct? Thanks for any input. To be clear, I have a few thumbhole style AK stocks on hand. Will theses screw right onto my Saiga 12 if I replace the trigger group with a conversion kit from CSS/Tromix/ect? Many thanks. L5K 162
You should be good to go with any AK thumbhole stock that fits a stamped 1mm receiver (MOST AK's on Earth). The Rear of the Saiga is exactly like the rear of an AKM, AK74 or fixed stock AK100 series.
