Have the shortened front rail on mine, any particular clamp to go over the barrel or one that can be attached to the handguard. Any ideas?
Doug Hartley 526
Hey guys, what's the best way to attach a sling mount to your tactical Saiga? Have the shortened front rail on mine, any particular clamp to go over the barrel or one that can be attached to the handguard. Any ideas? I have one R&R Saiga that has a tube front handguard with no holes in it. I drilled and tapped a hole and used a screw in sling stud. If you have an R&R Saiga with the slotted fore end, you can install JP Enterprises sling studs. Here is a link to that part: http://www.jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPHGS Don't attach anything to the barrel! If you have the R&R stock adapter, you can use a single point sling with quick disconnect: http://www.opsgear.com/index/page/product/product_id/766/product_name/Quick+Detach+Push+Button+Sling+Swivel. The QD plugs right into the hole on either side of the adapter. Doug
