Strikah1 2
I noticed today that my local Farm and Fleet was selling Winchester, Remington, and Federal Bulk packs for 22 bucks. All of them were 1200 fps. Then i noticed Winchester had another 12 gauge bulk pack that was 6 shot 1325 fps for 22 bucks also. I know most say go federal bulk pack, but wouldnt this winchester 1325 be even better than federal for reliability? Thoughts pls
Mullet Man 2,114
Thats my primary choice from F&F too, if its the Expert steel shot @1325fps. Never had one problem with the stuff. Just remember its steel shot and can ricochet. I've never seen any Federal bulk packs there tho.

I know most say go federal bulk pack, but wouldnt this winchester 1325 be even better than federal for reliability? Thoughts pls Go with the Federal. The Winchester (wally worlds bulk packs) have a very thin hull. This can cause feeding problems in your big mags(over 5 rounds). However the Winchester Super speed xtra. work(seem to have a thicker hull). The Federals have a certain smell to the powder. Nothing like it. Also the Federals smoke quite a bit. Kind of looks bad ass to see the smoke rise from a semi auto. All and all it depends on your gas ports and your elevation. I shoot around a mile above sea level almost everything works. Torqued 8
I find that even the Winchester Xpert likes to have pretty significant feeding problems. I attribute this to the "uneven" lip around the tip of the shell. It likes to catch more than other smoother tipped shells in the extraction slot. The hull also seems to be soft. I find federal is significantly more reliable. It also costs the same....
Dad2142Dad 6,559
Try them both, if the Winchester works great if not then you know for sure. My S12 runs them both without issues, 320 above sea level
