Hi all just picked up my 16 inch s308 to compliment my s12 and had a couple questions.1 would it be tacky to paint my guns the same or maybe do one the negative of the other. My s12 is black with od green.2 what ever happened to the g3 mag conversion? Can't find anything since like 2007 I would love to use g3 mags as I Already have some but I would really love to use the drum. Any ideas? Thanks

MSA is working on a mag adaptor that will either run FAL mags or LR-308 (DPMS, Ruger, etc..) MagPul mags.. which are 20 & 30 rounds I believe... another company also makes 50 round DRUMS(I think) for the DPMS/etc.. granted at $300 for a DRUM.. :cryss:

here is the drum MFG.. www.xs-products.com its the X-24 model I think.

There is a post somewhere about making G3 mags work.. but I haven't seen it..(I've heard of it)..

I have yet to hear anyone telling a person with a loaded gun that it looks tacky. Do what you think looks nice, screw everybody else ;)

Quite true. But then again you should see the paint job my old lady is designing for hers. I'm not going to be caught holding it

That may have been her intention. Girls don't fight fair, you know.

Time and effort put into personalizing a gun is not tacky.

Using bottom of the barrel components and throwing a bunch of crap on it, is.
