kindapointless 22
Hi all just wondering if anyone has worn out a mag yet? I have about 3500 rounds through my original 10round promag and it is starting to get kind of sloppy not only on locking in but feedlips look worn and follower kind of looks beat.I know promag is not the best but it was my first mag so I guess I'm kind of attached to it so I use it more then the others. schultze13 354
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you got a Promag that works!!! I had to do a good bit of work to get my 4 to work and they still mis feed once in a while so I only use them for training. As for life span of a mag it just depend on what type on ammo how you take care of you mags and what brand you have weather they have plastic or metal feed lips. So there is no real answer to that question some guys have shot magnum loads out of them and the recoil has broken off locking lugs on some so it just depends.
kindapointless 22
Out of the four promag mags I have only my original one works right. My gunstore threw it in for free when I bought my s12 and it has been the best mag besides my factory one. The other promag ones are junk. I don't know what is different about this one but it works better then my agp mags for crap ammo.
lbsrdi 1,078
We need a metal mag! I don't care about the weight, just give me a metal mag. Do you remember the plasic mags during the AWB. These mags have a lifespan far shorter than any metal mag. I had a Tech22 scorpion and bacically had no good mags during the AWB. Give us metal mags!
