JK919 4
So I ordered one of those canvas drop cases for my folding stock AK off gunbroker. I got it today, bit of a tight fit, but the AK fits. On the downside... it smells like complete ass. You can definitely tell it's been sitting in some damp Russian warehouse for quite some time. I gotta do something to get rid of this smell. Should I just toss it in the wash? Febreeze? Bet this wasn't the thread you were expecting, haha. Here's a picture, stink lines added for effect. jamesmadison 55
Color safe bleach? I ordered a Russian military surplus sling from Ukraine. It's probably going to stink too huh!? redsoldier 7
I've got an extra that is stink-free, and came that way. A lot fo them do stink though. The trick to getting out the smell is that is *may* have bee exposed to mildew - basically a fungus - so you need ot get it into HEAT and SUNLIGHT. The back car window does the trick after several days, usually. then a quick febreeeze and it;s gone.
