gunfun 3,931
Interesting... Jack Travers said the opposite IIRC.
msrdiver 42
My preference is not to use Winchester type wads (WAA12) in Federal or any other straight wall hull. Additionally, I recommend WSF or 800X for most buckshot loads. Blue Dot and Longshot is good for magnum loads. What speed and pellet count are you looking for? I may have a tested recipe for you. gunfun 3,931
I don't know about the OP, but I would like a couple recipes for 27 pellet #4 buck with those hulls any where from 1200FPS to 1500FPS. I suspect 1400 FPS would allow for pretty quick recovery.
msrdiver 42
32-34 grains of Blue Dot powder behind only nine pellets of OO seams a bit wasteful. What is the mass of the 9 OO pellets? Blue is something I'd reserve for heavy magnum loads. Out of a 19" bbl I bet you get quite the night time flash. BTW does your machine drop Blue Powder without much variation? It has been recommended that Blue Dot not be used in a LEE Load All II since metering has been problematic.

FORKLIFT352 63
I have a MEC... and a 21" Saiga..or is it 22? Going by the book it said 32 gr. Blue Dot. Make sure your pay load is not to high.. (To much powder?) The pre crimp is where I used to have trouble... hope this helps.
