King45 0 Posted May 23, 2011 Report Share Posted May 23, 2011 I found a picture of a Saiga 12 with a Tapco Galil style forearm on it on the internet (Google Saiga 12 tapco and click on "images"). DO NOT OPEN THE IMAGE - IT HAS A VIRUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . . . but look at the image. Cool. Problem is Tapco is unsure how a Galil style forearm was put on the Saiga 12, even after I had the Tapco guy look at the picture. Question - does anyone know or can you direct me to a threadwhich discusses how a Galil style forearm for the Saiga 12??? THanks. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I ran it for a while. It requires a different retainer and the top of the handguard needs to be cut open, or cut down (mine was cut down). Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Dyn 4 Posted May 24, 2011 Report Share Posted May 24, 2011 Carolina Shooters has the handguard Saiga 12 , AK-47 Galil style handguard AND a bracket adapter to go with it. I hope they work well together as I ordered one through my local gun shop. They will be installing it on my gun as soon as the bracket comes in.
