Needing help fixing my .308 with the proper trigger/pistol grip

Recommended Posts

I deal with Apple computers, and did a trade out for a nice AR and this Saiga piece of work a while back.

I've never worked on one before, but I don't think it looks to be that tough. I just need some good direction on what all to buy to make this gun look and feel right. The trigger is designed for a non-pistol grip Saiga, and the pistol grip I am pretty sure isn't the right thing. If you can see to the front of the trigger guard, they put a piece of metal in there or something to make it fit right. I'd like to get rid of the pistol grip/guard that's currently on it, and get the right trigger setup with a nice pistol grip. Any part numbers and suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd like to go with a nice sniper rifle look with the .308

I give up with the attachments, it won't let me embed, and my files are too large, so here's the link for all but one of the files.

Convert it properly (move the trigger group forward) and you will be extremely happy you did. Grab an AK pistol grip too.

trigger group; Dinzag, tapco, RSA, I'm sure there are others

the conversion is a snap. i have the ak saw type grip, trigger guard and maybe a trigger that will work for you. the 308 was the easiest of all the saigas i have done. it looks like you are almost there. i say less than an hour. pull off the guard and grip and i'll swap with parts i have. when you are ready pm me and i can walk you thru the rest of the conversion
