ozone_00 3
Federal 100 round boxes cost $2 more than four 25 round boxes, at least at my local Wally World.
MuItiSlacking 0
Nope. Thanks for the heads-up. I never even looked at the 25 round boxes because the 100s are so cheap. I guess that's why they're marking down the 25s.
KC913 324
I've been buying the Federal 25rd blue box for $4.97 for a while now. Cycles just as well as the bulk in my experience. Edited May 27, 2011 by KC913
ozone_00 3
Cycles just as well as the bulk in my experience. The blue box are 1290 FPS, IIRC the bulk box are 1200 FPS, so they are apparently loaded a little hotter. Shot them today for the first time since converting and getting my AGP 10 rounder. One FTF on the last round but otherwise ran great. Damn I love that gun. Edited May 28, 2011 by ozone_00
TO THE FLOOR IN A 63 121
Ding ding ding...no finally someone else noticed what I have been talking about for 2 years with Fed, 1290fps, $4.67 a box, wallmart ammo. And we shot 200 rounds of it today. PLUS I shot a box of Winchester Universal that the Wallmart manager was nice enough to give me when they sold that crap to my wife. It failed to eject almost every time. some times I could get off a shot w/o a fte but never more then 2. Shot 45ACP and 9mm too. Didn't get a chance to shoot the makarov before it started raining but we did get a couple hours in. Nice way to kill a Friday afternoon.
evlblkwpnz 3,418
Cheaper sounds great. I just bought 200 rounds of Federal bulk and 300 rounds of Winchester Universal bulk for Sunday. Anyone else want to come to Yulee, FL and raise hell with my S12? I'm trying to hit 1000 rounds in a day without cleaning
Molive 2
I'd gladly pay $2 extra, i can't seem to find them in either 10 or 25 count at any of my local wal-marts

Usually bottom-right corner in my experience. Oftentimes I'll pay the extra two dollars to not have to wait around for Flunky McG.E.D. to show up and ask if I need help, then go find someone with the keys (who, ironically, is ALWAYS on break ), and then when the key-keeper finally gets there, they can't find what I'm asking for when I'm giving them the simplest of directions... ktcm7271 999
The fact that all you red blooded Americans still shop at Wal-Marx never stops making me laugh. The Waltons are the most hyper-capitalistic family since the Rockafellers. Also, link please (if sharing knowledge with someone who has less isnn't socialist). saltydecimator 482
Kt ftw! Academy has all the same ammo locally for about 20 cents more a box. Why I hate walmart is because every time I go its always a hassle to actually check out. Grandma is payin in nickles. Peoples want ya to speak spanish. Just not worth it. Aimsurplus or ammotogo has some some good prices.
AJ Dual 43
AFAIK, the cheaper boxes were 1oz and the bulk packs were 1 1/8th, so there is a little more lead in the bulk packs. So at current spot prices of lead, with an extra 12.5oz of lead in the bulk pack vs. 4 of the individual boxes, that's about $.90 of the difference. And presumably the same powder load would push 1/8th less lead faster too. So there's probably some factor of how stores actually price the bulk packs of things higher going on too. Does anyone know if they're the same cheapo hulls and aluminum "brass" as the bulk pack too?
saltydecimator 482
Ya, they do seem like they are super cheap. And base is aluminum....

psl sniper 963
not to mention the 25 rnd boxes say 1290 fps, while your "value" pack says 1200 fps. pay less for more? why yes. thank you.

Actually, Academy is around the same price as Wal-Marx and has a greater selection of ammo. When I can, I shop there. As for your question, the online prices end up being lower than Wal-Marx when you buy in bulk. You ARE correct though, if I go online I will not find a better to-my-door price on any single box of ammo than by going to Wal-Marx...

theturtlepond 31
The bass pro shop near me has aisles of just shotgun ammo and some not much more than Walmart 25 round boxes. Plus its a much better shopping experience and they even have a pond with fish in the store.

ozone_00 3
Eat a bag of baby dicks you brain dead fuck! Wal-Marx trains their employees how to milk welfare and unemployment ON OUR DIME instead of providing full time hours with full time benefits. Every time a Wal-Marx pops up, rapes and violent crime in the parking lots increases. They only install external security when someone says the word "union". Do some damn homework you asshole. Citation or STFU. Also, learn to put things into context before spewing political rhetoric. For instance, let's assume that it is true that Wally World trains their employees how to milk welfare and unemployment as you claim. Do you really think that they are indoctrinating Marxist ideology, or are they just weaseling their way into paying them less so they can keep more money for themselves? If you hate poor people just say so, don't play the commie card on the store where they get their groceries. Edited June 1, 2011 by ozone_00
