banshee 69 Posted May 31, 2011 Report Share Posted May 31, 2011 I finally got around to cutting my HD 870 barrel down from 20" to 18-1/8" and installing a new bead. I also made this little aluminum jig to hold the barrel in a Bridgeport vise so I could drill and tap it for the Ithaca M&P bead. It holds the barrel by the front support ring to insure the barrel is not canted to one side. I use a Wire EDM to cut the barrel and to make the jig. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
