I suspect some actually BELIEVE they're trying to do something for what they feel is the greater good (misguided as they are), but chances are a lot (most) have received funding from anti gun groups and those that want to disarm American Citizens, for whatever reason. They're just pandering to those that fund them. With the socialist agendas trying to be implemented by many of those in high places, having an armed Citizenry just won't do. Watch THIS for a fresh insight into where we might be headed, if certain groups have their way. It's not about the facts, it's about votes. Agreed. The UN has no right or even ability to "police" within a sovereign country, and I don't see the US loosing its sovereignty any time soon. The "unique marking" and country code is TBH a non issue, as nearly every new firearm already has a serial number. (and much ammo already has that data on its headstamp.) Now what wasn't clear in the article was if this law was supposed to apply to "Legacy" or "Curio and Relic" firearms. If so, then to hell with 'em. Otherwise I see it as a non-issue. Is the day that these will be going downrange. +1. seems that the US government agencies and those affiliated like making the innocent pay for the guilty. i wish Americans would WAKE UP, and wake others up and think for themselves and to know they are free and resist tyranny. as of now, we are on a steady coarse for failure, and have been. the day the US determined that other nations should have a say in our daily lives, was the day the Constitution shed yet another tear. just the fact that people want poilitics to change things, well one thing never changes. politics is the reason we are in this shit to begin with. our founding fathers would have been shooting by now, for many reasons. it sadens me to think just how many fuckers are blind. i served 6 years in the Marines, and to what avail? what will it take for most of the MEN in this country , to say they had enough? im just curious. theres always a line in the sand. always. its always an excuse to not fight for the very thing that made us who we are, and what we have now. who the world once wanted to be. now we are the punchline. now we are at the mercy of a tyrant system hellbent on power, control, and greed. instead of hiding behind their families, maybe some men should stand in FRONT of them and show them that some things are worth fighting for, even if that means dying. theres no shame in death. especially if its for a cause. just a part of my 2 cents. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
