Cobra 76 two 2,677 Posted July 11, 2005 Author Report Share Posted July 11, 2005 Yup that's just an off the shelf SKS vented gas tube cover. It fits perfectly between the GB and trunion on my S-12 without any modification. I had to force the Saiga forearm to flex around it and it holds itself in place with no permanent attachment. I put a couple of 8 rd mags full of both #8 and Wolf magnum slugs through it yesterday and it stayed put. I don't know about mounting stuff on it. You would have to permanently attach to the tube or trunion and GB and weld anything you mount to the top because it fits right down against the tube and is flush with the GB and trunion. Cool thing is it's easy on and easy off if you want and stays put with no help. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
