jmzzl 146
I have one of those WASRs that had the muzzle nut welded in place, and the bayonet lug grinded off. I broke the weld on the muzzle nut and fixed that problem. How do I go about fixing the bayonet lug problem? I really don't want to press off the gas block and put a new one on. Is there a quick and easy way? Maybe weld the "tabs" back on with a bead of weld? Any useful links? Help would be appreciated.
kmanator 45
If the square body is still there it is easy to restore with a mig welder and a dremmel cut off wheel the shape the bead...Here is one I restored on a psl.And yea,I know it opened up the 922 can of worms but I prepared for that with the build parts..kman Edited July 17, 2011 by kmanator
jmzzl 146
Thanks for the info. I'm in the process of tacticooling my WASR with Tapco stuff. I'm looking at an East German bayonet, the black handled one.
