ChileRelleno 7,071
Hair trigger? No way in hell. My S12's is just a lil'over 4lbs and that seems kind'a light.
erenrag 1
I have a Remington 700 custom built that I installed a Jewel trigger on and it has ruined me for life. The trigger is so much better than anything that I have ever shot that I want to outfit my considerable arsenal. It is completely adjustable and I have it set to about 1.5 pounds of pull. I have extensively tested it for misfires and have never had a problem. The break is extremely crisp and there is almost no pull. That being said, if you can't shoot straight with a factory trigger, a custom trigger isn't going to do you much good. Learn how to shoot before spending the money. eodinert 1
Keep the hair triggers next to the banana clips.
epbullen 21
AK platforms and super light, super short triggers don't go together, ever.
ironhead7544 35
The Red Star adjustable trigger group instructions say never to go below about 3.6 lbs, IIRC. Probably to prevent double or FA fire. I think 5 lbs or so is about right for an AK. Needs to be smooth for best accuracy.
gagtoe 5
A mild polish and JT spring is as light as I want to go. My xdm has a much lighter trigger pull, but a longer pull, my CC DB9 is DA, so it's much heavier. I am impressed with the crispness of the S12 though. Mine breaks like glass.
