The launchers are CNC machined from a solid piece of 4140 bar stock and weigh in at a hefty 15 ounces. It's quite a hog-out.
The new AR-15 Golf Ball Launcher from Tromix is not your ordinary 150 yard, POS blooper launcher. This device will literally drive the ball completely out of sight!
The launcher creates an enormous amount of backspin as the ball rockets away from the launcher. When fired parallel to the ground, the ball will fly straight out, four feet off the ground, to about 100 yards where the backspin will start to bite, accelerating the ball skyward at a 45 degree angle……until “blink” it’s out of sight. The first time you see this monster in action, you’re going to shit a cinder block.”
Simply screw the launcher to your AR-15 threaded barrel (1/2-28 threads), load a ball into the launcher, and fire it out using a blank cartridge.
Instructions for Use are as follows:
WARNING: Never attempt to load a golf ball into the launcher while a live blank cartridge is in the rifle’s chamber! Never fire any cartridge other than a blank round, when a golf ball is present in the launcher. Don’t be a Dumbass.
1. With your AR-15 rifle unloaded, remove your flash hider or other muzzle device, install the ½” o-ring over the threads, and screw the launcher on to the end of your barrel. Seat it up against the O-ring, but don’t squash it flat.
2. By rotating the launcher either over, under, right, or left of your barrel, you can create the desired spin in order to curve the ball in any direction. Usually, you will want the launcher above your barrel in order to give the ball maximum lift.
3. Drop a golf ball down the throat of the launcher and shove it completely to the bottom using your thumb or suitable tool. The ball should fit snug in the launcher. Not all balls are the same diameter so tightness will vary. New balls will fly substantially farther than old worn out balls.
4. Insert a magazine in your rifle loaded with blank cartridges only. Chamber a blank round, point in a safe direction, and fire. The spent blank will not extract or eject from your chamber. DO NOT RECHAMBER A NEW ROUND AFTER FIRING!
5. With the spent blank left in your chamber, reload the launcher, THEN chamber a fresh blank cartridge and fire again.
