kvincent 4
The other threads on this topic went to hell with some members arguing like twelve year old girls. So, I'd like to start a new thread and keep it civil and to the point. Mike, given the response on this forum, would you consider refocusing on the double stack mags? It seems there is a market for them. If you don't want to, is there a technical reason why they are difficult? I'm sure the design is challenging, but is there a specific reason why they are proving difficult? If there is, you need not share the details, but, please, let us know so we can stop dreaming about them. I'll buy ten tomorrow if you produce them. Please, do not drag up old crap from other threads in this new one. I am seeking a simple, straight forward thread that Mike can comment on if he chooses. We want the 12 Round Double Stacks. What are our chances? Kerry
mscottrogers 56
i think he has a patent in the works. the difficult part is the rimmed shell, as I understand it.
Goose 95
Rimmed shells, and the fact that other companies are about to/have come out with quad stacks for AK rifles. I might be misspoken but I believe he's re prioritized to compete in that market and finish the double stack S12 mags afterward. I looked but I couldn't find the thread where I read this, so I won't say that Mike said it himself, but I do remember someone mentioned that. Makes sense to me, I haven't heard any buzz about other people being close to double stack S12 mags. i think he has a patent in the works. the difficult part is the rimmed shell, as I understand it.
