dashowdy 141
cobra I figured out why dogs get so damn excited about snow, they only see in two tone colors so when snow covers everything it looks like a big playground and they get super excited and go full retard. same thing with 1911's pup. DrThunder88 912
My dog Annie died last fall. She was not a fan of snow. Being a shorty jack, she had to drag her belly through the snow when she went out. Eventually she learned to find human footprints and then zigzag between them. Cobra 76 two 2,677
Sorry to hear about Annie man. Yeah dashowdy my dogs both go ballistic in the snow. They run full blast all over the place and can't get enough of it. Max only stops to gulp it down in huge quantities...lol. Don't have to clear my front walk... he does it for us. Chomp chomp..... RobRez 1,895
Here is a funny shot of my dog "Kitty" sleeping against my Saiga .308. She is awesome! Adopted her last October, when she was a terrible mess. Her face was all cut up, really bad pneumonia, bad limp, broken tail, broken molar and emaciated ( down to 35lbs.!). Lots of TLC, Pills and Bills, but worth it all! I really feel great coming home to a dog who is Bonkers for me!

spainy79 22
Here's Caesar. An ADHD Lab. Last year he got loose and some douchebag decided to pop a .22 into his back right leg. Still don't know who did it. He recovered well and for awhile was a spoiled house dog. The bullet broke his femur and in one pic you can see where the pin is pushing against the skin. (bullet hole) Here's when the pin finally worked it's way through. I woke up that morning and had to clean some blood up. What a way to start the day! Here's his leg after the hair grew back and the pin removed. He's pretty well back to his normal self.
6500rpm 670
^^^I see he suffers from another Lab trait known as soft mouth As hard as I've rough housed with mine, she's never hurt me with her teeth. Edited August 7, 2011 by 6500rpm
spainy79 22
That's true. The only exception is when he was less than 2 he would latch on pretty good if I was rough housing with him but not enough to do any damage. He's 4 now and a little more easy going. He did recently (over a 3 week period) kill 2 racoons that wondered through his territory though. He shredded one of them.

DogMan 2,343
I hope to get some good pictures of Jake in the raft today. We are down in Oregon to raft the Rogue river this afternoon. We're going by ourselves so I'm not sure how much opportunity I'm going to have to mess with a camera. The river is running a little higher and faster than usual so those opportunities may only come in the flatter sections. There is some great scenery though. Hellgate canyon is one stretch that I scouted from the top yesterday and it looks awesome. This is not a particularly dangerous stretch or I wouldn't be taking my dog, but there is whitewater. Jake wears a lifejacket and I have a system for holding him in the raft as long as it is upright but will release him automatically if it flips. It should be fun for both of us. People with good taste on guns must also have good taste in dogs! edited for typo Thanks, I saw the dog that got tied up with her mom. Didn't expect any of the puppies to come out any other color than brindle. Both my dog and the stray were brindle. She looks like she may have Coon Hound or maybe even Ridgeback. One of the pups had the tan with black muzzle look and she gets the mohawk when she's scared/startled and I've seen the tri-color version of the Ridgeback too. Some of the other pups from the litter got freaking huge so maybe there's some Mastiff there too? She's a Heinz 57 pitbull mutt. Sorry for the dog porn but this is what the rapist dog looked like. He was pretty malnurished I could see his ribs. I tried to feed him but he had one thing on his mind and waited until I was heading inside with a load of firewood to make his move. He actually followed me and my dog up the steps and got her half way into the door. He was so much larger than her and very skittish. He dragged her down my steps and I was afraid he'd gut my dog by trying to run away. I took this pic and sent it to my girlfriend at work with the text "Merry Christmas". This was Christmas Eve. She had 8 puppies. Edited August 20, 2011 by xxINFIDELxx
