my762buzz 141 Posted August 31, 2011 Report Share Posted August 31, 2011 i have a zigzag brake installed but its on permanently for state compliance. there are no signs of deflection nor flaking. i always clean with foaming bore cleaner and remoil, just run patches down until it shines. i dont use brushes to scrub the bore. so its wierd Ok, I just got to ask because I think this gets left out sometimes. Have you ever lubed the barrel bore with any oil and not wiped it out dry before shooting? Have you checked your bore for bulges? Sometimes you really got to look closely.
