555JM 10
Mounted my new 4x24 POSP (AK version, 1000m reticule) on both a .308 and a 7.62x39 Saiga and found the reticule and turrets rotated 10 or more degrees clockwise from normal. The horizontal scale slopes downhill to the right, the vertical scale is tilted to the right and the turrets appear canted to the right; all about the same amount. It looks the same on both rifles. This is my first POSP. Is this normal? Can it be corrected?
CPF 80
Its an illusion. I thought the same thing with mine at first. Its actually in the way you hold the rifle due to the scope being slightly offset (you are probably tilting the rifle to level the scope up with the rifle), and when you do go shooting with it, it should actually be quite level (mine is perfect). POSP's are great scopes, if you need any other help just post in here again.
555JM 10
I think you're right, CPF. It's a function of it being offset to the left of the bore centerline...hadn't thought of that. I'm used to scopes being centered over the bore, as on U.S. hunting rifles. Something else to get used to. Seems like a great little scope in every other respect.
