Congratulations on taking the plunge. What kind of lower handguard is that and where did you get it? Also, is the piece hanging below for a light or laser? It is perforated steel. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep,that's the one.Got the AMD lower handguard from Joeken.Test fired today.After about 20 rounds the lower handguard moved forward and pushes the laser mount loose.I've got a piece of hard rubber between the handguard and barrel which keeps it from moving up and down,which worked good.I think I'll make a bracket and attach the AMD handguard to the original handguard screw hole on the receiver end.That should solve the problem of it moving forward due to recoil.Maybe the retainer from Tapco would work too.I wish they'd sell it seperate.Don't like the Galil handguard.
