rgb03 0 Posted September 6, 2011 Report Share Posted September 6, 2011 (edited) i have a Tromix S-12 that i had built a few years ago. it has the galil style handgaurd on it. am i able to add a rail to this gun with out doing any cutting or welding etc.? which rail or rails would work? my gun looks very similar to the tromix s06 if its any help. thank you. also wanted to ask what grip would work on this gun without doing any mods? it currently has the galil grip with the screw welded on. TonyRumore 1,332 Posted September 9, 2011 Report Share Posted September 9, 2011 When you remove the hand guard, make sure you tap it forward and get the tongue completely out of the receiver, before you pull it off the barrel. If you yank down on it while the tongue is in the receiver, you will break it off. Just get a piece of rail and screw it to the hand guard. Tony so a piece of rail will be strong enuff to mount a forward grip and not break anything? while i have you. i wanted to ask about the pistol grip also. do you know of any other grips besides the galil that will work with your setup? thanks.
