If you are considering hunting, there is a poly-choke available that fits on the factory threads. This place has an excellent reputation and from my personal experience has been top notch! One is a do all, the other more tactical. then i have a 24" model specificly for goose/duck hunting. With the modified polychoke I made from bolt face to end of the break its 27 1/4". They should give you a commission! I couldn't beat their price on a 19" AND it was in stock. Any thoughts on the conversions and other fun stuff? I didn't notice if they had anything like a shock absorbing stock. Is there such a thing and is it necessary? Once again thanks and thanks to everyone who responded! There is such a thing as a recoil absorbing stock, http://forum.saiga-1...tube-and-stock/ I don't think it is necessary, but it really is a personal choice. This holds true for almost all saiga parts/accessories. There are two suggestions i would have for you and it is based off of my opinion/train of thought YMMV. I like functionality. My 2 suggestions, polychoke-2 breecher and ATI collapsable folding stock. Review of the poly-choke; http://forum.saiga-1...hoke-ii-review/, this gives you many more options than traditional brakes, 9 positions from xtra-full all the way to a reverse open choke and it is breacher rated. My final suggestion would be an ATI stock, it is a collapsable folder. If you do not have the butpad on the stock and you collapse it all the way before you fold it, it will clear a 20rd drum, other stocks that don't collapse will be to short when extended IMHO. Having a collapsable folder adds many advantages and uses. My Saiga was so young in the below pictures, it has really changed, need to get some updated pictures,but, it gives a good idea of what the stock is like. The main thing is to take your time and get to know everything that is out there and then decide on your needs and likes. There are many great vendors on this forum with many different items.
