ljarmy84 3 Posted September 24, 2011 Report Share Posted September 24, 2011 I sent in a form 1 to SBS a Stoeger Coach Gun back in february. After waiting quite I while(July) I contacted the ATF who informed me that it was approved in early June. However, I never recieved the form 1 in the mail. I have already requested a certified copy which I have not recieved yet, but they refused to send me another tax stamp only a copy. Do I have any grounds to file a complaint against them since they either didnt send it or the USPS possibly made a mistake? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
armalite_ar50 86 Posted September 24, 2011 Report Share Posted September 24, 2011 Nope happens all the time. you will get a duplicate form but no stamp. They are only issued once. One of the reasons it's very important to keep the original in a safe place and carry a copy with the NFA item. Even lost in the mail upon approval there is only a duplicate with no stamp replacement. Like I said happens all the time. search around some other sites and you will see that it's common enough to be scary. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
