patriot 7,197
CAS/SASS/Wild Bunch for me. A great bunch of folks and no "I gotta win at ANY cost" attitudes. If your gun breaks, someone will help you fix it right there, or lend you theirs, with ammo, so you can finish the match. Ammo problems? Same thing. Tips and tricks? Yeah, we share those too. Everybody helps out. It's a big party. Edited September 25, 2011 by patriot
ChileRelleno 7,071
I've enjoyed many pistol/rifle events organized by local ranges/groups, and by national organizations such as Appleseed & CMP. Can't say enough good about CMP's & Appleseed's programs. I love learning more, I always glean some tidbit to further my skills, especially from other shooters. jimbobborg 0
Black Creek 3-Gun. The match director had us shooting an AK on the rifle/pistol stage, so I brought my semi-converted Saiga 7.62x39 for it. Decided to up the commie factor so I brought my CZ-75b Cold War Commemorative. Good bunch to shoot with. Jim
going12220 125
One thing is I highly recommend trying as many of the sports / events / disciplines as possible. Even if you think you know you’re only going once and shoot a borrowed gun, it’s usually a good learning experience and it may be something that you really enjoy and will pursue further in the future.
