Deadeye 325
A frend I worrk with used them so I tried them. Does anybody use pencil eracers for ear plugs? They work better than store bought earplugs. just insert round part in ear and all is quiet. Also you can poke holes in the pointed end and tie a string to them so you dont loose them. It is manditory to have them on the job we are on.
YOT 3,743
Perhaps I have a small ear canal..... or big erasers, but they don't work well for me. I stick with nice comfortable silicone.

BobAsh 582
Just use a bolt. It will stay in better if you thread it in.

poolingmyignorance 2,191
Pencil erasers.....man just thinking about that makes my ear cannal blister.
BuffetDestroyer 969
They also come in handy if you have to erase something! I guess in an emergency you could do the Van Gogh thing and cut your ears off if it really gets loud and uncomfortable.

MT Predator 2,294
Different ear plugs have different dB ratings. Foam ones differ from single, double, and triple flange silicone ones so I'm not sure what pencil erasers are blocking.
timy 1,185
What no JB weld custom molded ear plug solutions? Nah, just use loctite to keep them in. I recommend the non-permanent type.

These earplugs are by far the most comfortable I have ever worn, I can honestly wear them all day http://www.radians.com/main/p-282-radians-custom-molded-earplugs.aspx

Scott Kenny 144
Why? yellow foamies are cheaper (buy them at Lowes or Home Depot, not a gun store), and I have two pair of electronic muffs, too!
LPadilla34 0
This may be an old thread but I just want to help out. Erasers can vacuum your eardrum out. If I were you just order a pair of custom earplug.https://www.bigearinc.com/products/best-ear-protection-for-shooting/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDm47bA9oEA&t=27s Edited August 27, 2019 by LPadilla34
