deavis 0
Links? Tutorials? Looking to put one on a gun with no handguard retainer. Does the little cross pin just tighten it up and its good to go? It can't be that easy.

HarvKY 72
If your just talking about the furniture, etc then take a look at Red Jacket conversions. Many of Will's Saiga builds (especially earlier ones) used an HK style foreguard. Cheers, Harv
smartbomb 133
harv, not the furniture. in the posted image, the front sight/gas block is an hk front setup. it "appears" to be installed instead of a typical ak type gas block. i have been toying with the few i have and it looks like there are a few places i need to fill with weld and then drill a hole for the gas to get into the tube. bohound 281
deavis... You appear to be cataclysmically confused, and have gotten absolutely no help thus far... Sorry! The picture you posted, second post, was a Galil clone. The front furniture, gas/sight block are from a Galil. The rear sight looks like a Tech sight, but I'm not sure. The MP5 front end is a COMPLETELY different animal. Hope this clears things up. Use the search function for an exhaustive amount of conjecture over Galil conversions. ETA: Took another look at that photo. Looks like a Tapco Galil handguard, with an HK sight conversion, not a Galil GB. Edited November 24, 2011 by bohound

jimmy_stikx 0
As far as I know, the HK front sight will slip over the gas block. I think the tutorial I saw on it was over at gunco.net, or here, it's been a few years.
