Robocarullo 0 Posted October 23, 2011 Report Share Posted October 23, 2011 (edited) Hello everyone, I lurked for a while around here and then could resist it no longer I joined up and got myself a Saiga 12.. I considered having one built by one of the many great builders represented here but in the end the impatient side of me won the battle. I found a decent deal on a used one on GB it came converted with a bunch of extra parts and accessories. I changed out the grip and stock, the Kvar stock and MD grip are sweet. It looks like the trigger guard and safety stop were recylcled, and the Tromix FCG is really smooth with a very short reset. It is a little challenged in the finish department I'll be sending this out for a Park/Gun-kote job at some point. I also have plans to mod the Kvar stock with a QD sling stud and a cheek rest/riser, and throw an Inlight Tac light on the rail, as well as get a few more Magpul rail covers to fill it out. The sights are still up in the air...... I may go with the Chaos HK sights but after installing a riser to make the Eotech work for me I think they may be too low. I have seen some other HK rail mount sights but I really like the XS ghost ring MP5 set. Anyways here are some pics......
