The scope holds zero very well. The top cover was smithed to fit into the rear sight assembly and the back is set with screws with lock tite so when I remove it she goes right back into place. After a cleaning she consecutively shoots 2&1/2 groups at 250 meters. I was very skeptical but has proven to be very accurate, figured for 35 bucks what was their to loose. As it comes to the unmoved group, it is very comfortable for me to shoot. I shoot m4s at works and it is much more comfy then my work rifle is. Being that it is a factory stock may be the reason, not sure. Thanks for the positives btw.

The improved balance is well worth a small sacrifice in comfort for you. Trust me. And 2 1/2" at 250m??with x39??? Video or it didn't happen. If it's true you got the only 1moa ak in the world and should place it in a trophy case immediately.

I hate to call you out but 1 moa at 250 meters, with at least a 2 moa red dot in that optic?

Tascos normally have a 5 moa dot too.which would cover about a 13 inch target at 250 meters. More of a shotgun sight IMO

Guys you can believe what you wish, as I havn't a thing to prove to any of you. I know what I and my rifle can shoot and if you choose not to believe me then I am most certainly good with it. I am too old in the tooth to have to prove anything in my life, simply answering the zero question. As it comes to moving the trigger group forward what benefit does it have other then comfort, which I actually find the current setup very comfortable, mind you not as comfy as my ACR but better than my m4.

No hard feelings man. Just opinions. When the trigger group is moved up you are left with a much much lighter, smoother, and shorter trigger pull with a much nicer reset. And the balance to me was the biggest factor. Shooting a factory rifle offhand is difficult because of the weight being about 70/30 front to rear. With the pistol grip conversion. The balance point is much closer to 50/50 with or without a 30rnd mag.( the way mr Kalashnikov designed it) I just feel that it's degrading to Mikhail's wonderful design. Kinda like a v6 mustang. It's just not the way it was meant to be

The benefit is a much better trigger. Much smoother and not nearly as long as the stock.

After converting mine, the difference was night and day. Also, the comfort factor was huge. Balance is such an important thing in a rifle and the conversion increases that enormously.

To each his own, but I dont think you would regret it.
