What sights do you like for competition/general shooting

Recommended Posts

Sorry for the complete noobness but I haven't found a consensus on 3 gun shotgun sights. Couple questions:

1) What do people win with on the Saiga 12s? Yeah, I know...it's the shooter not the gun.

2) Would a simple ghost ring set up with fiber optic ("FO") front sight work the best?

2) Would it be beneficial to put a rib system in like the standard trap & skeet style?

3) Anyone use a combo system (red dot plus FO or iron sights?)

4) Any experience with this new one? (FO sights built into rail...has a link to youtube showing some comp stuff)

Any feed back on any of these would also be greatly appreciated:

A) Champion easy shot:

'B) Hi Viz:

C) Tru Glo http://www.truglo.co...800?company=TGI

D) TRU-DOT... Interesting night sighst for general use; but for comps?:

Attached picture is DaGroaner's S12 and he's got some type of rib system that looks streamlined. Anyone know what this is? Dude has been off line since July or I'd ask him directly.

Thanks,

Thanks, I see now--they have them pictured at the mfr website, too. Some people are taking them off I suppose to fit other rail systems...but, why not keep them on for quick acquisition and use the side mount accessory with a red dot...that way you can have the best of both worlds?

I'm still thinking this hybrid system (http://www.mccannind...es.com/fors.htm) has some potential if you can get a good gunsmith to make it work with an S12.

Keep you posted...I may try it once I find a good shotgunsmith in San Diego.
