Rhodes1968 1,638 Posted November 10, 2011 Report Share Posted November 10, 2011 Adding a rear site to that particular rail is going to involve some work, it can be done but its a pain, I know Ive done two. Not knowing the level of skill the OP can put to the task I would ditch the rail for quick release side mount of good quality, find a front sight and have it installed and go to something like a krebs rear. Now if the rail you have a good one you can add any decent rear aperture sight (yes grinding cutting and shaping involved) but you are going to want a slightly higher front sight than the factory sight.
