Removing parts to be compliant?

Recommended Posts

Was wondering this while the rifle was not fully assembled.

Can i reduce foreign parts count by simply removing some foreign parts without replacing them?

If a 762 Saiga has 11 foreign parts, can I simply remove one of them to be compliant? I.E. can I remove a piece of foreign furniture that would still leave the gun functioning to be compliant?

But more specifically, if my rifle has U.S. made trigger/disconnector, U.S. made PG and handguard, will it be complaint if there is no stock on it? Do I need to have a U.S. made stock as opposed to no stock at all to be compliant?

Its like this because the Tapco hammer sucks in my opinion (using factory stock hammer atm), and because the rifles tapco butt stock is not attached at the moment.
