anybody try to make saiga .410 pistol ???

If it's a smoothbore and you're using the original receiver, it would be an NFA weapon - a Short-Barreled Shotgun. If it's a smoothbore on a new receiver, it would be an AOW. If it is chambered for a different cartridge, say .45 colt or .45-70, has a rifled barrel, and just happens to be capable of using .410 shotshells, it would probably pass muster as a handgun.

an AOW you mean?

 

sure, a company i used to work with made one....it didnt sell very well....you can see the applications and uses for it, though.....

 

The differences between an SBS, an AOW, and a "handgun" are very slight, sometimes, but they are there. Previous post has it pretty much right, insofar as a general standpoint.
